This is a three-story building (including ground floor, 1st floor and 2nd floor) with a 3000 ft2 terrace that offers you the most amazing views of the city, its culture, and its mountains; it’s the perfect spot to gather with your loved ones and simply contemplate the landscape, while sharing some snacks and refreshing drinks in our restaurant.

For those guests coming in a business plan, Terra Sur Cuenca also has a meeting space for your comfort. Everything in the building is top-quality and luxurious, including all furniture and décor. And, for those days you don’t feel like cooking or going out to eat, the hotel also has a restaurant for your convenience.

The best part of staying at one of the units of Terra Sur, is the location, as it’s right in the heart of Cuenca, within walking distance of several places of interest. For example, Central Park is just 10 minutes away, and the Stadium is only 5 minutes away walking. Located right behind of the University of Cuenca main campus, you’ll be just a few minutes from Tomebamba River, a block away from the main Avenue Remigio Crespo and minutes away from Cuenca’s Stadium.

The area is really calm and safe, and there are several restaurants, coffee shops, banks, stores and transportation nearby, so, sometimes, a car is not really necessary. However, if you decide to bring your own car or are planning to rent one, the building also has limited free parking, so your car will always be secure.

And if you’re coming for work or need to contact your loved ones at home, don’t worry, there is great WIFI connection throughout all areas of the hotel, so you’ll always be able to do it. Finally, if you are the type that likes to travel light, this is the perfect place for you, as the hotel also has a complimentary laundry room with washer and dryer for the use of all of our guests, without any additional cost.

• Once you have arrived at Hotel Terra Sur Cuenca, we will be waiting for our guests to Check-in at our LOBBY located at our ground level of the hotel, so we can welcome you, provide the keys of the unit and explain a little more about the this beautiful city of Cuenca – Ecuador.
• We offer transfer from and to the Terminal/Airport for a fee of $30.00 dollars.
• We ask our guests to arrive after 3:00 pm (15:00) and to check out at 11:00 am.

• Our hours of operation for our lobby from Monday through Saturday, in our morning shift begging’s at 10:00 am until 1:00 pm and our afternoon shift begging’s at 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm.
• If you are check-in during after hours of operation, please contact us 30 minutes prior with your arrival time. Also depending on your arrival time, you will be provided with a code for our Lock-box so you can access your unit.

• Smoking is prohibited in the rooms or in the public areas of the hotel, but a fine of
$ 200 is also charged for cleaning and disinfection charges.

Payment Policy

The charge will be made to your credit card 24 hours before check-in. If your payment method is on credit, the term to cancel is 15 days prior.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation in less than 7 days before the reserved date will not have a surcharge, but if it is not received during this time 50% of the rate will be charged. If the cancellation is received in less than 72 hours, 100% of the first night’s rate will be charged. In case of No Show will be charged 100% of the stay.
